Wade has served as a co-owner of Leavitt Insurance Agency since 1990. During this time, Leavitt Insurance Agency has become one of the largest and most successful agencies in Nevada and within The Leavitt Group, the third largest privately-held insurance broker in the nation. With more than 25 years of experience in the insurance industry, Wade is able to provide Leavitt Insurance Agency and its staff with the leadership, tools and expertise to grow and succeed.

Wade has a Bachelors Degree in Finance from The University of Nevada, Las Vegas and received his Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) designation in 1986. He currently serves on the Nevada Department of Insurance Property & Casualty Advisory Committee as an advisor to the Insurance Commissioner, Board of Directors for Nevada Surplus Lines, Board of Directors for The Leavitt Group Agency Association and other insurance company advisory boards. Wade is the past Chairman of the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department Civil Service Board and served as a member of the board for eight years. He also has been married for more than 25 years and has five children.
